Just like the pomanders of old, these will smell amazing but they have a fun Halloween twist.
a skewer or toothpick to poke holes.
ground spices such as cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg & allspice, optional
Poke holes with the skewer/toothpick and insert the cloves. For young children, you will either need to pre-poke the holes or have an adult work along side them poking holes where the child wants them. Older children should be able to safely poke their own holes. Once you are done creating a silly face, you can roll the orange in ground spices if you wish.
Set your creations on a table, on the doorstep or tie a ribbon around it to hang.
