Pretty Layered Oatmeal Baths
/There isn’t anything better than soaking in a nice warm bath on a cold winter day. To me it is like a mini-hibernation, a chance to rest, relax and rejuvenate.
Oatmeal baths are wonderfully soothing for that dry, itchy skin that sometimes happens during the winter. Heart opening roses in the bath restores the nervous system while cleansing and toning the skin. Or if you use lavender blossoms the result is a cleansing and refreshing yet relaxing bath. The water becomes silky soft and fragrant with these super easy to-make baths.
Include your kiddos when making this bath. They can help measure, stir and layer the ingredients. Pure fun for little ones.
Make this soothing, nourishing bath the perfect gift by layering the oatmeal and botanicals in a little jar. Include a muslin bag and instructions for easy use!

How To Take An Oatmeal Bath
Include these instructions with the bath if you are giving it away as a gift.
Place half the contents of this jar into the included muslin bag. Toss the bundle in the tub and fill with the hottest water from your faucet. Let your bundle steep in the tub until the water is cool enough for bathing about 15 to 20 minutes depending on the heat of your water.
Climb in and enjoy this super soothing, comforting bath! Be sure to squeeze and squish your bundle of botanicals and oatmeal to liberate the slippery, milky goodness from the oats. Use your bundle as a nice gentle scrub all over your body. Oh so simple and lovely...
